A Delilah Percy Powers Mystery

review 1: I was given an ARC to read and review. (Sorry it took me a while.) I found this story of the Delilah Percy Powers Agency to be quite interesting. It is a little different kind of book than what I usually read. It was a bit more graphic than what I really like but the storyline was very good. I really like the idea of the female detective agency and all the women are great!They are hired to figure out why Miriam Cross was so brutally murdered and why it was being kept quiet how she was murdered. It was hard to figure where the story was really going so I had to keep reading to discover the truth. There was danger along the way and there was an exciting climax at the end. It was a good story and I look forward to reading more about Delilah and Barb and Margot and Natasha and... more even Anders. Thank you so much for the introduction to the Delilah Percy Powers group!

Tyson is skilled at character development and you'll find yourself as interested in the supporting cast and their antics as you are in the primary storyline. This is the first in what will hopefully be a long series of Delilah Percy Powers Mysteries! This is an unusual storyline, delving into some seedy, non-traditional gender roles. I love that Miriam Cross has a "bad girl" side to her, something unexpected in a woman over a certain age. The character development is strong, the plot is unique, and the writing style of W. A. Tyson should be a breath of fresh air for avid readers less
