review 1: I heard Wendy Watson Nelson give this talk a few years ago, and it was something that I reflected on a lot. I was excited that they made her talk into a book. There are even areas to write down your own thoughts and impressions. Wendy Nelson begins her talk by saying that she was thinking about holiness and what being a holy woman might entail. She recruited some friends to do a little experiment and it was so neat to see how much the experiment helped all of them. It is something that I want to work on myself and have been thinking about even more after reading her book.
review 2: I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed with the format of the book, being that it gives many women the opportunity to share their own experiences. I would have much rather learned more f... morerom the author, herself, and was very impressed with her own knowledge, and wisdom. All that being said, the very crux of the book--becoming a more holy woman, and how to achieve that, is a five-star idea, and one that is revolutionary to my own life. less
