review 1: I'm probably overrating this by half a star, but even if it was basically a sex-fest, there was a very captivating love story. It's lust at first sight, but then Daniel and Rack were able to be convincing even outside the bedroom. I liked how Daniel let himself be conquered and owned by Rack, letting him use his body as a testimony of their growing understanding. I also liked how Daniel became his family, the source of his affection, his anchor. Rack is over the top, mouthy, a ball of explosive energy, but Daniel was the perfect bouncing surface. It was my Valentine's Day read and it was surprisingly sweet, it made me want to re-read it. Recommended to everyone with a tattoo-and-piercing fetish.
review 2: The characters are great. Rack is suppose to grab you a
... morend toss you around, fun guy. Daniel is quieter and more intense. I think it's this very difference that leads to the conflict and also to the depth of the relationship. They compliment each other. I love how the author made them seem so different at the start but showed how alike they were in the course of the book. Rack is very loyal. He comes off a bit flaky but you find quickly he isn't. Overall a wonderful book. less

The characters were OK, but waaaay too much sex, and no conflict. A little dull.
