review 2: This novel is a worthy addition to the Blue Ant series, tackling the topics of marketing, branding, and fashion.[Spoilers]Some examples:1) "I'd asked him what piece of information he'd most want to have that he didn't have.""The next day's order flow. Or really the next hour's, or the next minute's.""That information exists...but there is no aggregator. It exists constantly, but is unknowable. If someone were to aggregate that, the market would cease to be real...The market IS the inability to aggregate the order flow at any given moment.2) "The military, if you think about it, largely invented branding. The whole idea of being 'in uniform.' The global fashion industry is based on that.3) "She remembered him telling her how terrorism was almost exclusively about branding, but only slighly less so about the psychology of lotteries. These are great examples, but what draws me to Gibson most is not just that he thinks deeply, but that the way he "proposes" his thoughts frequently serves as a platform for the reader to think even more. less

Unnecessarily and annoyingly descriptive. Quit after two chapters.
