review 1: I simply love, love this book. What seems like a nice, simple story quickly pulls the reader into a special world of self-examination and deep theology. I am glad I bought a paperback because I found myself highlighting and annotating throughout the story.I don't believe I have been as strongly impacted by a story since reading Hinds Feet in High Places by Hannah Hurnard. Young spins a tale somewhat like Og Mandino, only much, much better.
review 2: I don't know what all of that about the Chinese is, but I would just like to say that this book is great. If we are discussing "The Shack: Reflections for Every Day of the Year" like I think we are, this book is for all fans of "The Shack" by Wm. Paul Young. It is a book with a quote from "The Shack" for each day... more of the year and a thought or prayer on each. I may only have read for six days thus far, but I know that it is a book I will cherish forever and be reading still when I'm old every morning. less
