review 1: This claims to be a book for college students, but I think it's way more informative for parents that hope to send their kids to college someday...it wouldn't hurt anything for the kids to read it too though. It's an interesting read...a little slow if you're not into statistics and percentages, but written in an easy to read way. I found this book to be really helpful, and I will be taking a lot of the advise the author gives.

I like his basic premise, which is that a college education should not be obtained at the expense of decades of future earnings, or bankrupting one's parents. In short, a very level-headed approach to the subject that might help you see the process more objectively. It... more doesn't tell you where to find thousands in free scholarships, but if it did, that money would already be gone by now, wouldn't it? less
