review 1: Had really good potential with the plot description and beginning but everything fell short without further character development or action behind the excessive sex scenes. Sure, you can keep all those sex scenes that's fine, but the book NEEDS to be bulked up with actual story lines around the sex scenes. Ugh, I'm disappointed because the blurb sounded so good. If you are looking for just erotica then I guess this will be perfect for you... but if you want more of a plot and buildup then keep looking...
review 2: Wow, loved it. 4 1/2 stars.Who'd think a futuristic story set on a violent prison planet could be so good, but it was.In the future, the coalition can pretty much put you in prison for life just for pissing them off which is what happens to archaeolog... moreist Riana.She's advised by a sympathetic guard to find the strongest man to protect her. Cain has been in the prison for a year and has managed to set himself apart. Riana winds up with the brooding Cain.The story of their relationship is touching and the erotic elements add to the emotion. I would have loved to have some insight from Cain's perspective throughout but the author is good at allowing the reader to discover more about him along with Riana.I would have loved it to be a little longer not because the story was lacking but because I enjoyed it so much I didn't want it to end. A well-written romantic/erotic story with likable characters in a unique setting. less
