review 1: I'm embarrassed to admit that this book has been in my TBR list on my e-reader for awhile. The cover kept drawing me in and finally I decided to just read it! I'm so glad I did!I was hooked within the first 20 pages. Laney and Kyle have a history, but a bad breakup 12 years ago has left them both with emotional scares and lots of baggage. When Laney returns to her hometown for Christmas, she runs into Kyle, and neither can deny that sparks fly. But, they both have so many emotional scares that they're HEA isn't easy and isn't pretty.I really, really enjoyed this book! Their HEA at the end seemed a little rushed, but it in NO WAY took away from the story! A great find on my e-reader!
review 2: Ehh, its was just one of those guilty pleasure reads that I got
... more for free on my Kindle. It was 80% 'erotica' and 20% stupid story. I liked the flashbacks and how they went with the present situation. I did also like the setting though and that the story line had potential...it was just never met. All the characters annoyed me and like I said, a lot of the parts were stupid. I guess there's more books and Im totally not going to read them! Like I said, just a guilty pleasure kind of read. less
