review 1: After I read the book description, I was interested to find out what the element of paranormal would be. After reading this book, I'm still not quite sure what's happening. I'm assuming Mikah is an angel but is she supposed to be anything? This book dragged on a lot so it just fell flat. Nothing really happened and when something did happen, the book ended with a cliffhanger. I don't like cliffhangers.
review 2: Came across this one and it's more of a 2.5 star for me. The story reads well but I am not a fan of how this series is going to play out. From what I can tell, this one (book 1) boy meets girl. She's damaged, he's not. Book 2, they draw a little closer. Book 3 they draw a little more closer. Book 4 they are together. I'm sorry, you can put all th... moreat in one book. The subject matter of this book is a little touchy as it deals with abuse but I think they author did a very good job with it. This series might appeal to others, but I don't think I care to continue on. less
