review 1: Finished! Finally! This is the eight book I've read in this series and it is the last one I'm reading. I'm afraid I'm done with Rosemary Beach. Although I think Tripp and Bethy's story would be interesting. I don't think I can put myself through it. I would also like to read Nan's book, but I honestly cannot carry on with this series. Maybe if there was only one book for each couple, I could possibly do it. I would not recommend this series. Sorry Abbi! I really enjoy the Vincent Boys series, but not this one
review 2: For the first 40ish pages I wanted to slap Harlow for how stubborn she was being. Her being miserable was her own damn fault. I hate that. And something I hate more than stubborn people is when they make decisions for others because they think it
... more's best. For me, I didn't see them grow as a couple. A lot of things happened that they didn't talk about. It was swept under the rug and forgotten. Like the whole 'he bought Nan a ring' shit Nan's friends were saying. Harlow didn't confront Grant so we don't know if it was true or they were just being bitches. Then when the valet tells him about that, guess what happens. He proposes and Harlow doesn't question if he did it because he loves her or because of what was said. Swept under the rug. After the doctor gives them the green light for sex but says they need to be careful that her heart is working double time all Harlow can think about is sex, sex, sex. ??? He just said nothing strenuous and she's ready to fuck him in the car on the side of the road. What?? The letters were a sweet touch but hey seemed a bit morbid. Nan's chapter. What was the point of that? Again something that added nothing. Everything seemed rushed and nothing serious was being talked about. Bits were added that brought nothing to their story. I just didn't like it. I skimmed most of the book. less

The story overall was really honestly sad. It made me cry, almost throughout the whole book.
