review 1: Pretty cute. This book has great themes of bravery and acceptance and feminism and balance that are probably too overt for your typical adult reader but I think is really nice for teens. I also like the college setting. I am a fan of books with a breakup where the character is still single at the end (not common) and I'm pleased to say that happens here and I'm also really happy how it played out. Very girl-power-y.The reader does both characters and her English accent is fine, but I would have liked to have an English actor do Emily's parts.
review 2: This book was absolutely perfect for me. It had gossip and parties but also structure and libraries. It had everything to please a high school girl. I think that a lot of girls my age are going through these diff
... moreiculties and it's important to see how other girls could handle these situations. I enjoyed how the book was split up into two characters and how each character had they're own style of writing. I wish Tasha had a happier ending though. I know she felt confident with the whole hot-tub incident and she sort-of found herself but I wish she would have got back together with will or maybe resolved the issues with her family, anything really! Other than thought I was sucked into this book! I read basically the whole thing while traveling on 4 different airplanes and was very entertained. Thank you Abby for keeping me entertained through out my tedious plane rides! less
