review 1: I can't believe how much good free stuff there is out there! This is another one! Short, but so much said in so few pages. Really beautiful story - refreshing dialogue and boys with such tender hearts. Jimmy is so brave to be so honest with Joey and Joey is a little bit brave to let him. Loved the family dynamics of both sets of parents and Joey's slow realization. Really really lovely story of Jimmy and Joey. Just read it. You won't be sorry.
review 2: Joey, wow. Jimmy is an amazing character; shy, brave and desperately lonely. I loved him from the start. Joey, on the other hand, was a typical high school kid, ostracizing anyone different and all too ready to do what it takes to keep up appearances. He was so cruel to Jimmy at times, intentionally
... moreand not, I just wanted to smack him. Once he figured it out (and he got some slack because, yes he's really young), I got to love him too. The story is funny, sad and so sweet. less
