review 1: This volume was just a tad bit extra if you ask me. okay, okay it is a sad occasion when you loose someone so dear to you. But this volume just over exaggerated the crying. It wasn't unexpected that he was going to die. The way that the characters act is like they believed he was just totally fine ( I do realise that some didn't know about his "bad habit" but still!) The way he spoke and acted as well was almost always suspicious and had some kind of hidden meaning. (I feel like I'm not making sense but I know what I'm talking about!) Also, I s it just me, or was he subtly drawn differently from the other characters. The way his portfolio looked was like looking at a picture in a frame.(yes, yes I know the book is full of pictures!) He also seemed to smile as if that was th... moree last time he would be meeting that person . oh well, maybe I'm just looking too far into it!
review 2: This volume and the last one (19) were very very melodramatic, especially with the Ren, Takumi, Reira triangle (more like an octagon). Lots of crying and screaming at each other.I think Yasu appeals to me the most because he's the only practical and level headed one. The rest of them... I can't understand why they have to make everything so complicated.Don't get me wrong, I love this series, but sometimes the characters drive me crazy. less
