review 1: This was a good read. It kept me on the edge, even though I figured out what happened to the ghost (and kept telling the main character what happened} (Which he didn't listen to me)it was still an interesting and exciting read. I liked the character development and how the story flowed. I am going to get the next one and hopefully it will be just as interesting. This book was free on my Kindle Fire so I figured if I didn't like it no loss. Try it if you like a ghostly mystery.
review 2: I really enjoy books set in the southern Appalachians. This one was no exception. Overall, it was a fun, spooky read. There was one character and one scene that I don't think added much to the story, and I did figure out part of the mystery about half way through. Even so, t... morehere were enough twists that I found the book hard to put down. I've already downloaded the next book in the series. I guess that's why they offer free ebooks...to get you hooked. less
