review 1: I certainly enjoyed the basic plotlines of this book -- three young people go to intern at a fancy hotel in Chicago that is run by disciples of the Prince of Darkness, and are seduced to varying degrees by the glamor. Mostly the book kept my attention although I have to agree with a previous reviewer who said that the author could have edited it down quite a bit. I also grew somewhat impatient with the narrator who isn't understanding what is obvious to the reader about some of the situations. Anyway, still a fun read, and something a little different, at least for me!

I liked it enough, though I agree with a few other reviews saying that it was pretty slow...
