review 1: For a novella I like how this didn't feel like I was reading a novella. As in it wasn't just a snippet of a story but instead had a substantial beginning, middle and end. I didn't think I had read the Goddess Test that long ago but I had trouble remembering who was who now that the pretenses were gone as to being gods. I also had trouble sorting out in my own mind who was related and in what way to whom. Otherwise this story showed a fiestiness in Kate that I remember a bit from the book but even more so here. Which is kind of refreshing.
review 2: Um... Kate is getting a little tedious. This is a peek into Kate's 6 months off from Underworld duty, but nothing actually happens. They run into people who are fugitives and Kate invokes power that she doesn't posse
... moress yet to force Henry into letting these fugitives go. Oh and everything is left without any repercussions. She is off with a guy who is trying to be more than a friend, she knows it, and yet even though she is a newly wed, she is playing the whole "he is just a friend" thing. So either she is dumb, or selfish. I already bought book two... I guess i will see what happens in the autumn. :/ less

A little sneak peek as to how Kate might use her goddess powers. Should be interesting.
