review 1: I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked this book and was interested in finding out what was going to happen next. The story starts off with Ember and her bad day…We learn about her friends and herstalker ex-boyfriend (I am not sure 2 dates is boyfriend/girlfriend) but anyways….When Ember stakes Mr. Mystery Man at a car accident as her man to piss Jack off littledoes she know how much her life is going to change. I loved the characters and the story was fast paced therefore I never lost interest in the book and it was fast paced. I absolutely adored Blake too.
review 2: It has a good story line, BUT I found myself trying to fast forward so the incessant whining and being a smart mouth and all the "snappy" comments of the main character would... more stop. I've read my fair share of books with an annoying heroine but this is probably the most I annoying thus far. :( I'm really sorry to say that because its a book I'd love to continue on, but couldn't with the sheer patience it took for me to finish it because of Em. less
