review 1: Picked this up because the art caught my eye. It's drawn in a realistic style--very similar to what Alex Maleev does; in fact, I thought Maleev drew this. I'll be keeping an eye out for Coker in future. The story itself has one of those endings that make you go, "Huh? That's it?!" But if you think about it some more, it does make sense and it's as good a way as any other to end a 4-issue miniseries. I like the new Bull's Eye. Even though I'd guessed the identity of the character before it was revealed, and hence denied myself the pleasant surprise I think I was supposed to have :/Nitpick: I am queasy about eye injuries and this comic has two characters that died with one eye put out. Gross.
review 2: While I still love the concept, this edition of the series was
... moren't as successful. The Spiderman one is still the gold standard.Very dark, though, with... !!!!SPOILER!!!!! READ NO FURTHER!Oh, and the costume looked silly--sleeveless tunic, really?--but the mask was extra devilly....the femme fatale being extra fatal to those she meets. less

Great art. Crisp, taut dialogue makes this noir-style Daredevil story a real good read.
