review 1: The series peaks here IMO. Decent use of some of my favourite tropes-such as best-friend's-little-sister and friends-to-lovers.It still had a lot of issues. For one, it's pretty unbelievable that someone as volatile as Frost is about the few things he cares about in the world, would have taken Regan and Dare's sneaky HEA as lightly as he did. Yes, I get that he wants Regan to be happy always, but my God I was looking forward to a scene where Frost very silkily and calmly tells Dare they're taking this outside and then proceeds to punch his way through all his issues about his best friend shacking up with his little sister. Also, Regan was 15 and Dare 23 when they first made out. EW. Also, how did Frost not knock the stuffing out of Dare for THAT alone?!The only counter I ha... moreve to offer is to continue maintaining that Frost is secretly the world's greatest matchmaker and knows JUST how to goad his best friends into admitting they're in love :DLove how Dare used his sneaky rakish skills to the best of his abilities in ensuring he snuck Regan out from under Frost's nose :D
review 2: This is the third Lords of Vice story in which we get the story Lord Hugh Mordare - more commonly referred to as Dare - and Regan Bishop. Regan also happens to the younger sister of another Lord of Vice, Frost. The story starts 5 years in the past when we see a 15 year old Regan getting up to mischief with a few members of the Lords of Vice. After a small accident, Regan is comforted by Dare and it leads to a kiss. They are caught by her brother, Frost, and an older matronly cousin and it results in Regan being sent off to a finishing school for young ladies. At this point, I'm not entirely sure how I feel. We get a glimpse of the feelings that begin and while I can understand Regan's crush on her brothers friend, I'm a little sketched out by the fact that Dare was already feeling less than pure thoughts about a 15 year old Regan. Actually, I should amend that to a 13 year old Regan as Dare had revealed he started to pull away from her 2 years previous when he started to notice her body and it's changes. Being that he's nearly 10 years older, that's more than a little creepy, IMO.But to the present - Regan decides she's done learning all she needs to know and convinces her chaperone that she's ready to return to London....even without Frost's consent and it brings her right back into Dare's sphere. At this point, I did enjoy the story and the banter between Regan and Dare although at a few points, he was a bit condescending. But he clued into his true feelings rather quickly which helped alleviate some of the more mundane parts of the story. All in all, a good read and I can't wait to read more about the Lords of Vice. less

I was going to rate this a 4, but then the ending happened. Overdone and a little ridiculous.

It wasn't bad, but I probably would have liked it better if there were fewer "other women".

4.5 Stars. Loved this. The ending was a bit abrupt but still an awesome romantic tale.
