review 1: LIAN:We see a playful side of Lian when his girl is around, "he chuckled, rubbing his cheek against her smooth skin with a gesture that was pure feline. "I'm deciding whether or not I intend to play with you before I pounce." Sage knows how to tease her man good and plenty, "on cue his entire body went up in flames, his erection pressing painfully against his zipper. "oh hell, Dr. Parker, you might be a genius, but your timing sucks," he growled." When our boy is down all he wants is his girl to make him feel better, "frustrated," he corrected. Pulling up the sheet that covered his naked body he sent her a smile of smoldering invitation. "Join me." ROCH:Roch he's a good kitty one that wants to take away his girl's problems, "tell me, his cat purred from inside his chest. T... moreell me what's wrong and I'll fix it. Whatever it is." He's very animalistic when it comes to Lydia, "his heart was slamming against his ribs, and every animal-like instinct he possessed wanted to pick her up and take her away. Maybe to his house. His bed. Claim her. Kill anything and everything that tried to get near." I love these books and I'm always looking forward to the next installment.
review 2: I have read all of the Bayou Heat (Pantera - Puma Cat Shifters) books and I never get tired of them. Each are similar but different in their own way. Bayou Heat is a great series. I've loved every book, every story.LianLian is tasked with hunting down and convincing a professor of ancient languages, to return with him to the Wildlands. Hoping she can help decipher the old scrolls, in hopes of finding a way to rid them of the evil goddess bent on destroying them and their homeland. But the professor was more than what Lianwas expecting. Instead of finding an old stodgy guy he finds the woman his cat knows instantly is his mate. Man and cat just have to convince said mate not only that she needs to be in the Wildlands but that she is also his mate.RochRoch is sick but doesn’t know why. But his cat does, and sets him on a path to remedy what ails him. His cat leads him directly to a pregnant woman that is not just pregnant but pregnant with a Pantera cub. Rescuing the woman and taking her to the Wildlands to keep her safe until they can figure out who the father of the cub is. The come to care for each other but Roch won't claim her as his own. He won't take her away from the male who is the father of her cub. This series should be read in order. Each book contains two short stories and each story tells a bit more about the Pantera. They are all worth the read. They are quick reads, well written and very sexy. I hope Ms. Ivy and Ms. Wright continue this series for a very long while. less
