review 1: It took me a good long while to get into the book, mostly because I wasn't in the headspace to parse Dil's dialect, and partly because the in medias res beginning left me wondering what was happening for too long. It all came together in the end, though, and left me desperately wanting more! This book is filled with diverse, interesting characters who definitely deserve a lot more books. I'm looking forward to the rest in the series!
