review 1: This is a continuation of the author's previous book, Home by Morning. WWI is now over, Susannah Braddock's husband Riley has been reported as killed in action. She has remarried. Two years after being notified of her husband's death Riley is found living in France, having been nursed back from near death by a French woman. He has amnesia and knows nothing of his past life. He is found by the Red Cross and returned to his family, whom he does not recognize or remember. Will his amnesia clear? Will Susannah return to him or remain with her 2nd husband?
review 2: I normally shy away from love triangles because I hate the havoc it reeks on my mind and heart. But this is one love triangle that was beautifully written. I have always love Harrington as an author an... mored she did not disappoint. Everything from the setting, characters, and plot were wonderfully developed and written. There were a few side stories that drew me in as well as the main story. There was not one character in this book I did not feel a connection to (good or bad). less
