review 2: Books and cats...make life worth living. Darla inherited a book store from her aunt in the first book of this series. The store included a large black cat named Hamlet who is sure he runs the store. Darla soon finds out that the intelligent cat can help her solve crimes by sending clues her way. He just accidentally knocks certain books o... moreff the shelf to convey his clues. Even tho the premise of cat detective reminds you of "The Cat Who" series, this one has much more suspense and a more interesting cast of characters. No dallying about a wonderful mustache or specially made kitty dinners from gourmet restaurants, just clues and suspicious characters. This time Darla must solve the mystery of the sensei at her dojo. Great read less
