review 1: Little Blue Truck is as endearing and helpful as ever. It's no surprise he sets out to get Christmas trees for all of his friends. This format is great, it's a larger-than-usual size for a board book which makes it ideal for toddler storytime. Not to mention, the lights that twinkle on the last page. The illustrations are lovely as always, personifying Little Blue Truck and his farm-friends. It's also a rhyming counting book. Kids will love spotting the numbered Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes and counting down as they they are given to Little Blue's friends. I highly recommend for purchase in libraries and for personal collections.

Realistic? Maybe not, but it shows exactly the sort of holiday season that everyone could use a little bit more of. The rhyming stanzas are sweet, simple, and full of numbers and animal noises that children will enjoy. The illustrations are cozy and colorful; looking at them just makes you feel warm inside. The tree with blinking lights on the last page will be a hit with the littlest audiences. Recommended for anyone who needs a break from holiday chaos for little bit of merry & bright. less
