review 1: I really liked this book. There is Lucy's story and then there's another involving a case from 15 years prior with one of the main characters from that event telling his side in first person. He is the one who is being stalked, not Lucy. Then we see how the events surrounding Lucy and her people at the FBI interact with the event of the man being stalked. I though this was clever, it made the mystery more interesting.
review 2: I'll start by saying Stalked was a very interesting and good book overall. I don't believe I've read anything by Allison Brennan until this one and I was pleasantly surprised to find it very inviting like books from authors such as Johansan, Jackson, Hoag, Gardner. I loved the character Lucy as well as her boyfriend. It seemed like its n... moreever a dull moment in their lives which makes me want to check out other stories with them involved. I only recently discovered Brennan's books when I decided to broaden my horizon with other authors, as I've spent the last 5 years mostly only reading Patricia Cornwell, Lisa Jackson, Lisa Gardner, Heather Graham and the like. I've found I now like Cozier mysteries and the works of Mary Higgins Clark too! So I was happy with Stalked and I am very glad I decided to take a chance on it and Allison Brennan. I have a bunch off her other books on my list to read after I dwindle down my shelves from other books I've been hoarding to read. (Reading is truly an addiction for me, and happily just about my only one.) Enjoy this Book everyone! less
