review 1: Artist Amanda Conner and her writer husband Jimmy Palmiotti take the writing leads on the new Harley Quinn series. How did it turn out?...Wonderfully. They capture the fun and psychotic nature of Harley Quinn. Someone putting a hit on Harley is not an original story, but Amanda and Jimmy brings new life into the charter and the plot. Amanda is one of my favorite artist. Her factual expressions are priceless when she has drawn for Powergirl and Vampirella so, I was a little hesitant about someone else drawing her and Jimmy's stories. However, artists Stephane Roux and Chad Hardin brought Harley's world to life with outstanding art work.A must read for Harley Quinn fans!
review 2: Someone has got a hit out on Harley Quinn and you know she's not going to tak
... moree this sitting down. On top of having this problem she also faces job hunting, paying rent, and looking after an apartment building in this issue of The New 52 Harley Quinn. Something that I really enjoy about these comics is the main character. I love Harley she's weird and complex. She's a psychologist, loves animals, but doesn't take anything lying down and has enough sass to get her through any situation. There are not many other main characters in this series yet and honestly, you don't need them. Harley Quinn carries her own series perfectly making me laugh, smile, and sometimes just say, girl... you're a little weird... With that being said though there's something fresh and new about these comics that even though it's past midnight here I want to dive right into the third issue! Love them, love her, and I hope this series continues to be just as wonderful! less
