review 1: Harley and Ivy make me more giddy than soloing an entire German Chocolate Cake. These two are just everything to me; they play off each other so well, and Amanda Conner has managed to capture my bae, Poison Ivy, perfectly. Just a dash of sexual innuendo and some genuine sisterly bonding, and you have gold. There was a very appropriate joke about Harley's "beaver" thrown in there, so there's that. In short, they decide to go all Ace Ventura by releasing every fuzzy and feathery animal from being put to sleep, and move them in to their apartment building, because why would you not if you were an educated hammer-wielding psychopathic roller-derby champion?
review 2: Harley Quinn is finally settling into her new apartment and this new life she's got going for her w... morehen she realizes that someone is out to kill her, or so it would seem. Meanwhile, a local animal shelter is going to kill their animals if no one adopts them soon. It's up to Harley to save the animals (because everyone has a soft spot for puppies and kittens) and figuring out whose trying to kill her. It's time for Harley to call in some back up and she get's the best backup she can think of, a long time friend. Harley Quinn's comic continues to make me smile, laugh, and wonder why she hasn't had her own series before this one and if she did why didn't I know about it. Sadly though the next issue is the last one that is available right now but lucky for me I already have it on my night-table :) less
