review 1: In just over 20 pages, Amanda Conner took me from eagerly anticipating this series to resolving to drop it from my subscription list completely.Harsh? Maybe, but this prelude to the series proper offers the reader nothing but inside jokes about DC artists which will be of little interest to casual readers. The story (such as it is) is that Harley is imagining her life as a comic book, and is auditioning artists and story ideas, with a different artist actually drawing each page. We're supposed to find this running fourth-wall gag hilarious, but the weak attempt to replicate Marvel's Deadpool lacks both intelligence and charm.

... morenuously just meant that we got to keep putting her in wackier and wackier situations. I'm a little sad to see the infamous bathtub scene has been cut but overall since I couldn't stop smiling I guess I'm ok with it. Here's to bigger and better on Harley's second attempt at her own series. less
