review 1: I didn't read this series in the boxed set but I just can't be bothered to give each book a rating, sorry Amanda. I think this is one of the best series I've ever read and gave me a new love for fantasy books and trolls. With rumors of these books being made into a tv series, I have been recomending this book to all my non-reader friends and they too have loved them. Good job Amanda Hocking this series was a great hit.
review 2: Amanda Hocking’s Trylle Trilogy (Switched, Torn and Ascend) is an interesting concept - an entire race of Trylle living amongst us, switching their babies at birth with ours and then reclaiming them later. Hocking did an excellent job of convincing me that this is quite possible. I just hope that there are no Trylle living in my town ... moreto snatch babies. They would only take heirs and heiresses to great fortunes, so if you fall into that category make sure you reinforce security around your newborn or you could just end up raising someone else’s newborn as yours, while your baby is raised as a second class citizen in a Trylle family. less
