review 1: A new author for me. The characters are well developed and neat. The descriptions of the areas are described so you feel like you are there. Marcy Singer owns an embroidery shop. Her Mother is offer the opportunity to designs customs for a movie. The movie will be filmed in Tallulah Falls. Several death occur including the star. Marcy's Mom is a person of interest in the killings. Marcy investigates to clear her Mom. There are many twists and turns in the story. I will read this series again.
review 2: I gave this book 4 stars. This is one of my favorite series and I usually devour her books, but for some reason this one was a little slower than the rest. In this book Marcy's mom, Beverly, a famous costume designer comes to Tulluah Falls to work on a movie feat... moreuring a young starlet, Babs aka BTru. Bev and BTru immediately clash, so when Babs is found dead in the woods suspicion falls on Bev. It is up to Marcy and her friends to prove Bev's innocence and find the real killer. I love the Coastal Oregon setting as well as Marcy's Irish Wolfhound, Angus. Good story, just a little slower than some of the others. less
