review 1: I started reading late last night, was sneak-reading when I could at school today, and ignored my family when I got home to finish it! The story-telling is wonderful, I loved all the of the pictures and enjoyed the characters. I would give it a 4.5 if I could -- I just wasn't in love with the ending....too many neatly constructed coincidences for me. I know my kids will love it! Grades 4+ Read May, 2014
review 2: Another enjoyable middle grade story by Ms. Turner. My daughter and I both loved it. The author is very deft at combining realism with elements of fantasy. As with Sway, the reader can easily believe in magic.
