review 1: It was a fun book to read, but there were too many scenes which reminded me of other books. The plot is very high paced, which can be nice, but often important things are skipped. That's quite a waste. For the rest: the book is predictable. So is the next one. I also think that if you read this book in 10 years, it will not be as funny as now, because often the jokes are based on contemporary memes or jokes on the internet. Also, the book missed a punctuation check. Too many mistakes. It's quite annoying, even for me, and my mother language is not English. All in all, this book is alright, but too many things were copied from other successful books. I will forget about this book in one year and if I ever read it again, I will probably groan in frustra... moretion.
review 2: This book has one cool plot!!! very very intriguing...that said the writing style is pretty cheesy which takes away from the book. So disappointing considering where this could have gone!!! Sucks when that happens a good story butchered by terrible writing. I will however read the next book just because I'm curious at how the tale ends....YES that's how much potential this one had...the story is gripping with lots of interesting Otherworldly Creatures...to the potential reader if you can get past the cheesy nonsense there's something special hidden in there...Could have been a 5 Star! *shaking my head* less
