review 1: Received as an ARC from the publisher. Began 1-12-14. Finished on 1-15-14. Continuation of The Game and its impact on the world. Thoroughly enjoyable; better than the 1st, and I liked that one. The transitions between the two main characters' sections were better and more clever (having a sentence begin in HP's section and end in his sister Becca's). Nasty villains!!!!! I knew that HP and his sister were going to have to work together on some project. Hope that's in the next book.
review 2: I actually liked this one more then the first. HP was a bit less narcissistic and more developed as a person. Becca is just plain badass. This was a great follow up to the first book in the series, Game in which the unlucky brother and sister are facing more danger and myst... moreery thanks to the shadowy Game Master. Buzz centers around the blurry reality of the internet and the Game Master's manipulation of the stories the world sees and how some anonymous people with made up profiles and an agenda are able to distort public opinion. less
