review 1: Spoiler~~~~~~~~So at first I'm really loving the book. It's flowing well and has a fair amount of suspense and mystery and then... We get to the library scene and that's where I'm like. Seriously. You break into the forbidden room AND start mailing out these priceless books to random folk with no idea when your uncle will return. And where are all the house staff?!?! I don't know I will keep pushing on but that frustrated me.So by chapter eleven you get to the point where u want to yell at the chick on the screen "don't go in there girl". When characters obviously go against all rational thought and walk off the ledge it kind of ticks me off and I start to loose interest. Well I made to the end. I'm not a super fan of cliff hangers but it wasn't horrible. And of c... moreourse I have to read the next one for closure which I probably won't get then either.
review 2: Zvláštní čtení! Když pominu, že jsem Smečku stále ještě nečetla, je to i docela zajímavé.. :D (I když mi to ze všeho nejvíce příjde ujeté.. :D Ten "dům hrůzy" nemá chybu.. xD) Někde v polovině jsem si uvědomila, že Shay je TEN kluk, který je i na začátku Smečky (kdo by odolal přečtení pár stránek v knihkupectví?), jsem to hlavička, že? xDTaky jsem si všimla, že kapitoly se přímoúměrně posunem děje zkracovaly, jak zvláštní, člověk by čekal opak.. :D Ale zajímavé čtení, párkrát jsem se vážně nahlas zasmála, takové milé zpestření sobotního odpoledne (a něco, co vyžene z hlavy takový oříšek, jako je například Přechod Cronina, což BYLA zabíračka.. :D). less
