review 1: I'm torn between liking this book. It was just ok for me. I absolutely loved the Nightshade series, and because I loved it so much is why I'm so torn. I thought how it ended was perfect and that she should have left it alone. Yes, as with all great stories the want to know more and for it not to be over was there, but sometimes stories are better left alone once they reach a certain point. She reached a great finale. I feel that she's reaching too much now to keep it going. Some parts/people were even annoying to me, like why are they acting that way. It's just to keep the story going and I feel it's too much.
review 2: I picked this book up mostly because I loved the nightshade novels.. However no matter how hard I tried I could not seem to commit myself to th... moree book or it's characters. This is probably mostly due to character selection. There are characters who are strong enough to grab your attention enough for an individual story and those that are not. I gave it my best go but some things are better left as you remember. less
