review 1: Short read, funny and light! I couldn't stop laughing with Sam's internal dialogue and witty comments of her family especially with her older sister Molly whose boyfriend is Matt. Matt was just a dream! Captain of the football team in High School, funny, kind and a talented guitarist and vocalist and a hero! What more can you ask? I wasn't sure how the story would end, as Matt was with Molly and Sam just couldn't help but fall in love with him but I was pleasantly suprise of how the story wrapped up. I just wish that the author could have had added an epilogue of how they both got on at school. Highly recommended.
review 2: This loveable story was a joy to read. It took me back to when I was sixteen and experiencing crushes and what I believed was love. Sama
... morera is not any different when it comes to this difficult teenage phase. She meets Matt and they have an instant connection and quite a bit in common. After spilling the news of her newfound heartthrob to her older sister, she makes the shocking discovery that who she is crazy about is her sister’s new boyfriend, who is also captain of the football team at her school. Samara now has to try to quench her feelings for Matt but is constantly running into him. They both play the guitar and even end up performing together in a talent show. I really enjoyed this story. As I fore stated, it took back to a confusing yet unforgettable time in my life. I would LOVE to see a movie adaptation of this story! less

Good, clean story. Easy read for teens. Likable characters, very predictable ending.
