review 1: I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway and WOW! The only M/m/f books that I ever read were by Nicole Edwards. This being Andrea Smith's first journey into the ménage I think she did a GREAT job. I love how she not only focused on the sexual aspect of a ménage but the emotional aspect of it as well. I'm not going to lie, there were times when I was rushing through the pages because I just wanted them to get to the good stuff. :) Once I realized that Smith was stringing us along with all the foreplay, I felt like I was actually participating when everything finally came to a head. (pun intended) I am hoping to see more from Andrea in the future, since she sees how much her fans have enjoyed her first attempt at a ménage story. :)

... morehis was an ok read for me. There heroine isn’t one that I usually like or persevere with to be honest. She’s young 22 year old just out of college and is trying to find her way in life. The blurb describes her as being insecure and lacks self-esteem….so I was immediately drawn to this. But whilst reading she came across as the opposite. She was like a wild-cat when it came to flirting with other men and wasn’t ashamed by the fact that she brings home different men on a regular basis. This is something that essentially gets her thrown out of her parent’s home and then both her brothers’ homes, landing her with Eli and Cain. After bringing home the wrong guy, which causes Eli and Cain to step in…..they give her one hell of an intervention….lecturing her on her lack of self respect etc etc. From then on she does improve….seeking different men, the ones that she thinks could develop into something more than a one-night stand….and Eli and Cain seemingly are happy with this. For me, this is where the story just didn’t quite work. I mean, there was no real build up to the three getting it on. The word ‘chemistry’ was used a few times later on, but I didn’t feel it. The two guys seemed quite happy with her reformed dating agenda, with no jealousy whatsoever. The relationship between the three was far too platonic for much of the story, until, WHAM….suddenly it wasn’t. And again, there were issues for me. The ‘chemistry’ started between just two of them….between Paige and Cain and Eli was supposedly ok with it, even going on a trip to leave them to it. I wasn’t comfortable with the way this part was panning out, but ill give Paige credit, neither was she. She didn’t like the idea of being with Cain, even if they had Eli’s consent. After some time apart, Eli got his finger out of his arse and ‘confessed’ his feeling for her too. Then they live HEA.A generous 3 stars since it was different than most ménage stories ive read. less
