review 1: WOW...what an emotional roller coaster ride that was...I knew this was going to be a hard book for me to finish...and I kept finding excuses to pop over to something else every now and then...but in the end...I had to just let it happen. How sad and heartbreaking can a book get...this one is at the top of the list for me. I know Paris would have to go...as Roan knew also...but that didn't make it any easier to read and all the other stuff just kept you brain going so your heart didn't have to accept the reality of death...but it always comes and of course Paris went out in his own way...on his own terms...and then it was over! WOW...what a way to end a book!!! You can bet "Life After Death" will be one of my reads in the next little bit...there is no way I can just let thi... mores go!!! Roan without Paris is going to be a very strange place to be...but I can't wait to go there!!! Just like the first book in this series...this book had excellent writing and the story was overwhelmingly wonderful!!!
review 2: Everything that I loved in the first story plus more. Once again the author delivered a very well-written, interesting story and this time added in a big dose of heartbreak as well. Despite that I really enjoyed reading it. Definitely sad but it also had a very romantic feel to it. It's easy to see and feel Roan and Paris' connection and oh boy, that last chapter was hard to get through! Recommended. less
