review 1: This book seemed to be written without any planning. The overall story was lacking but what killed it was the inconsistencies. The main character talks about her children (step children) and refers to them as her "babies". When they are introduced we meet a son and a daughter but later in the book they are called "sons". Also the main character borrows an excursion which then becomes an explorer which then becomes a gmc explorer. This was the second Andrew gross book that I read and the other had the same lack of consistency. I don't think I can do another one.
review 2: I didn't think much to this book at all. I found the story line to be weak and Not remotely exciting. It's always hard when a male author writes about a female main character Wendy's consta
... morent advice on how beautiful her hair was and how tight her leather skirt was got on my nerves from the off. I didn't bond with any of the characters which I think is important if you want to create empathy in a novel. I found the story quite boring and was glad when I finished it. less
