I loved getting to know the charachters in this book and was happy to find that one did not have to have read the other "Shaker" books in the series to be able to understand what happened here. I also found Ethan to be interesting and authentic. However, I do wish that there had been a resolution to one certain part of Ethan's story eventhough that might have been a little too unrealistic. 'Ann Gabhart has become a must read author for me and this book just confirms why. less
