review 1: I quite enjoyed this book. The story of Sydney Williams and her developing relationship with rock star Ben. Sydney appears as an ice queen to the band after a terrible incident in her younger years. Ben is keen to know her. A terrible misunderstanding and an unfortunate secret causes problems.I loved this story and Ben, Sydney on the other hand did something terrible to Ben and I struggled to understand why.Great story.
review 2: I loved this book. I give it 4.5 stars. The author has a few habits that bother me though. One is especially annoying: she uses the word "smelt" instead of smelled!!!! Also, without giving anything away, the author skips too much time in her books--like years. Makes me crazy!!!But really, I loved the story, I couldn't put it down. It b... moreothers me that her characters don't communicate well enough that miscommunications happen so easily, but if that wasn't the case, the books wouldn't be as good!!!! This book had a nice slow build up of romance. I liked that, and that so much happens, right up till the end. I look forward to reading more from this author. (just stop saying smelt!) less
