review 1: I really, really wanted to like this book. However, I felt that at a certain point in the book, it became very predictable. I kept reading the book just hoping that the author would prove me wrong and throw an unexpected twist in...but it didn't happen. The fact that Annie had this 'infatuation' with Libby wasn't believable either. The relationship between those two characters had no depth. It's always interesting to read good stories that center around mental illness-especially suspenseful stories. This story had the potential to be really good, but it wasn't. If I hadn't been holding out hope for an unexpected twist-I wouldn't have finished it.
review 2: This book tells the story of a girl who is hired by a family as a nanny, the family seems so perfec... moret and this seems like an amazing opportunity but after a turn of events she realizes that she was wrong. This book was surprisingly creepy and thrilling. It kept me interested and on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was not expecting it to be as creepy as it was but that made it all the better. This was a great book and I would definitely suggest reading it if your in the mood for a thriller. less
