review 1: What a sweet read. There were some inconsistencies, overlooked, however, because of how lovely the story was. In sum, this is definitely a favorite. Chris and Rob complemented each other in a way that was believable. No rushed attraction or love at first sight, just two men learning their way through a new relationship. The moments of anxiety were realistic, as were the moments of great emotional distress. Must read.
review 2: I have to start this review by saying that this cover is absolutely gorgeous, because it really is. The old school tattoo sketch style is just perfect. Now I would of liked to say the same about the book but unfortunately I didn't like it as much as the cover. Tattoos & Teacup was the story of Robert, a professor in university, in his thi
... morerties with a dull and uneventful life. That is, until Chris comes along. Chris is young, full of life and passion, and exactly what Rob needs, and Rob is exactly what Chris needs. It was a cute book with a nice romance, even though the romance between the two characters seems way too fast. I mean they have a first date and they confess eachother's feelings already. It felt rushed, like the author really wanted to get to the point where Rob and Chris are a thing. And I get that, I guess but the problem is in the beginning, when they're still flirting and having dates, it doesn't feel natural or like something that could happen in real life. Other than that, the romance was adorable with no fights, no angst and I guess it's nice from time to time to read a book like Tattoos and Teacups. It's fresh, full of love and happiness. So I really enjoyed reading this book but I only gave it 3 stars because really, there was nothing interesting happening in this book. It's just the life of a happy and in love couple. But it was good anyway and I absolutely love the relationship between Rob and Chris, how they give to the other something that they were missing, how they complete eachother. It's always nice to see two characters completely in love and actually living this love. less
