review 1: I loved this story! It was so sweet. I was totally drawn in to the wonder and magic of falling in love for the first time. The first kisses, all tangled up in the emotions of uncertainty, vulnerability, and hope we're so realistic and caused much nostalgia on my part. I loved Ellen and feeling uncomfortable about her CP. That uncomfortable feeling was totally genius on Anne Eliot's part. It made me invested and want to know more, despite my discomfort. This story was so well written and easy to fall into. I will read the sequel.
review 2: If there wouldn't have been a sneak peak at the sequel I would have thrown my Kindle off the porch over the ending. I struggled with whether to give this book four stars or three and settled on three because it just l... moreost me around the halfway point. It started out so promising then lost steam. I will read the sequel when it's released because the ending was just SO open I have to know what happens but I just can't give it that extra star. Maybe if I had known going in that it was the first book of two (Please don't let this end up being a trilogy) I wouldn't have been so disappointed overall. less
