review 2: What a great book! I really love the heroine. Strong and independent, she has a lot of life force unlike most heroine which is spoiled and passive.Maddie, is a daughter of a fallen noble. She had to work hard for her entire life to fulfill her family daily needs. At 22, she had to support five siblings. One day, she witnessed a man's accident and tried hard to save his life. When he woke up, he found himself in amnesia, but from his clothes and belongings, they both knew that he was a noble or from respectable family. Maddie had no illusion about him falling in love with her, but still, her heart fluttered when she saw him.Nash was a very smooth-talking man. He was a diplomat and an Earl's son. He came home from Russia to arranged a regal party for a Russian Grand Duchess to attend. He then asked for his aunt's help to arranged the party, and found him some respectable girls to marry. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), when he checked his new estate, he fell from his horse and had an amnesia. That's when their story began.The plot actually pretty cliche, but it was done very beautifully, I could capture the heroine's feelings perfectly. His reason for hating marriage-because-of-love was also a bit made sense. With his parents being so in love with each other, they spent their days either fighting or making up. Traumatized, he wanted a convenient marriage, without love.The hero and other characters were done quite good, but still, the one I really love is Maddie. less
