review 1: 3.5/5 ... Nash was amusing, the heroine endearing and competent. Story proceeds at a fast pace and holds your attention. Although I found the constant heightened state of arousal of both the main characters for much of the novel to be a bit draining after a while. Mind you it was quite well done, but I would have enjoyed a few pages here and there where neither of them was fantasizing about getting into the other's pants. Just having a bit of normal non-sexually charged storytelling thrown in there perhaps would have made it less wearying than the constant bombardment with their urges and it might have evened things out with regards to the overall tone of the book. Other than that, the conveyance of familial love was spot on and sweet, all the children felt real and adorab... morele even with minimal focus placed on describing them. Not sure why we needed five kids, seems excessive, but Gracie made it work.The book teemed with emotional highs and the lows and shock felt after malicious destruction of personal property were very well portrayed. Funny at times. Worth reading. Excerpt- Nash interrupted. “I need you to stay here.”“Here? You mean at Whitethorn Manor?”“I mean here, in the cottage. I need someone here for when this villain attacks. Keep your groom with you just in case. I want to get to the bottom of this, catch the bastard and find out why he’s doing it.”Marcus’s brow rose. “I see, you want me to lend you my new chaise and my favorite team, while you take that red-headed termagant—”“She’s very sweet when you get to know her.”“—termagant to Harry and Nell’s and in the meantime I’m to wait in this poky little cottage and expect to be attacked by person or persons unknown. Is that it?”“In a nutshell.” Nash grinned. “You’re quite astute, you know, brother. So that’s a yes, then?”His older brother gave him a long-suffering look.
review 2: Nash jatuh tepat dikakinya Maddy hihi gag deh jatuh dr kuda lebih tepatnya..dan ditolong n dirawat maddy smp sembuh tp sayangnya si nash amnesia jd selama menunggu ingatannya kembali Nash tinggal di cottage sederhana maddy yg dalam prosesnya membuat mrk ber2 saling jatuh cinta...saya suka interaksinya Nash dgn ke 5 adiknya maddy..intinya saya suka sma nih gentleman...ceritanya jg mengalir apalagi di chapter2 terakhir..bagus. less
