review 1: I didnt love it but i didnt dislike it. I think its kinda...meh.Bad boy redeemed by love is getting old. Plus i kinda feel like their connection is based on him liking her because shes the only girl who doesnt swoon and gush over him like a fangirl.Playing hard to get, eh? OH MY GOD IM IN LOVE WITH YOU, PLEASE LOOK AT ME DAMNIT! It was entertaining and good to kill time, but i dont think id be interested ln reading its sequels.
review 2: Chose this as my free book from the summer library reading program, planning to pass it on to my high school mentee. For that, it was perfect. Quick, somewhat intriguing, not terrible writing. I found the author to be unclear sometimes with little things like where the characters were (I thought you said he was in the water, ... morebut you just said things flew through the air). Newish twist on the teen Twilight genre. 2.5-3 stars. less
