review 1: I really enjoyed this. I don't know, it must have just hit me in the right way at the right time. It's very traditional, and most of the story takes place through conversation and in the characters' heads, or involves social machinations. But I've been through a string of regencies lately that were all "meh" to me. Mostly because of the insistence on evil bad guys and plots and spies and whatever, none of which I find necessary for a good historical romance. This reminded me of old-school Balogh (who I love). It stood out for me, by virtue of being slower and less concerned with being overly "plotty."
review 2: It was a strange book, where most of the thing happened in the head of the two main characters, but, even if sometimes their continue over-thinking was
... morea little bit boring, it was not the usual regency romance, and for that I'm grateful.Strano libro, dove la maggior parte delle cose avviene nella testa dei due personaggi principali, ma anche se ogni tanto le loro continue elucubrazioni erano noiose, non è stato il solito romanzo regency e di questo non posso che essere felice.THANKS TO NETGALLEY AND HARLEQUIN FOR THE PREVIEW less

Very cute and sweet! Would have loved it more if there was an epilogue.
