review 1: Même si j'adore cette série, ce tome n'était pas un grand coup de cœur comme il l'était le premier tome. J'ai adoré retrouver le Bourbon Kid et tous les personnages, me retrouver dans l'atmosphère bizarre et sinistre de Santa Mondega et la touche d'humeur qui me fait sourire même au milieu des massacres et tueries, mais le fait que dans ce tome est révélée l'identité du Bourbon Kid et son histoire m'a déplu puisque ça lui a ôté un peu de charme auquel j'ai succombé dans le premier tome l, aussi, la fin m'a laissée sur ma faim et quelques éléments m'ont échappé pour comprendre la tournure des évènements.ça n'empêche que j'ai passé un bon moment avec ce livre.
review 2: even more gore, even more blood, even more weird creatures, even mo... morere twisted chracters, even more fun and sarcasm... it's simply amazing and funny and i dare to say that i nearly liked it better than the first one. you also get to read a chapter or two on the bourbon kid's teenage years and why he turned out the way he is. i really liked that because it was very interesting and made me love his character even more than in the first book. in the first book i wouldn't really mind if he died but in the second i was really upset and sad when it seemed like he died.you also got some old characters from the first book - the few that didn't die, like dante, kacy, peto (in disguise) and sanchez but the rest are all new and interesting characters. some weird, some bad and some really funny like fritz - gotta love that guy :Dand what i like most is that the author took the over-used vampire-genre and still managed to create something new and original and innovative. less
