I like this book because it’s very exciting and they put links in the book so you can watch the video that goes along with the story. review 2: I finished the book. Now, living in Oregon, where this book takes place, I wonder if it's based on true event. Old Joe Bush is real. And his ghost is too, supposably. After finding out that it was based on true events, I did more research. There's this show I watch. Ghost Mine. That what this book is based on. It's definitely spine tingling and a heart p... moreumping events all rolled into one truly adventurous book. Ryan and Sarah investigate the town that they both grew up in, Skeleton Creek. Sarah drives across the country from Boston, just a camp in L.A. But yet, her parents let her drive in her own car at the age of 17. She goes to haunted houses and digs up graves, only to discover the truth about the Crossbones. Ryan stays at home and finds info while he also tries to cover it so then his parents don't suspect anything. Ryan and his parents eventually go to the library and dig a huge hole and find a big part of history. But yet, their adventure isn't over yet. The ghost of old Joe Bush is still watching Ryan. So is the Apostle. They're waiting........ less

Ready to start another adventure in The Crossbones by Patrick Carman? Well let me tell you there is another mystery coming your way! This time Sarah and Ryan are trying to crack the puzzle. Sarah has left for filming school, and they figured out the clues are all over the US. So why doesn't Sarah just stop at the places she will find the clues on the way? Come figure out if they crack the code, and if they do what and where is the treasure going to be? I love this book because once you start it you are in for the ride of your life. I recommend this book to anyone that is not reading a book or would just likes to read. This was a great book.
